Having a great time here in Fredericksburg. Been boating, played shuffleboard, and made new friends. We head home tomorrow and I have plenty of pictures...some of them might even be blog-appropriate! Talk to you all soon...

I'm waiting to head out from Oakland, and I can't help but notice that more than half the personal computers here are Macs. While that's great for my stock price it also makes me wonder if America has finally realized Macs as alternatives to PC-based systems. Still, keep up the good work, California.

Switching trains at Metro Center I noticed that there was a train scheduled right behind the one pulling up to the platform. Stepping back, I observed a quite hillarious scene: people running and cramming into a train like it was the last train on earth, not realizing that the train behind it was a minute away. What was the end result of their efforts? Ultimately, they had to stand, crowded into a train, while I'm writing this from a comfortable seat on the next train, sparcely populated with passengers. Had they waited and split up, everyone would have a seat. The mob mentality strikes again...

Have you ever had a bus drive right past you? Just completely skip the stop you're at? It's not a whole lot of fun and certainly makes Metro look bad.
And these people want a fare increase...sheesh...
